THE NEW EL LAGO RESTAURANT

Marbella, May 2023.- El Lago changes ownership, renews its image and continues to offer a gastronomic proposal based on seasonal and zero kilometer products.
Located next to the lake in the urbanization of Elviria Hills, El Lago is a fine dining restaurant with an impressive wine list.
It is a peaceful space, surrounded by green areas, and the special place to visit when you want to try some well prepared dishes or relax with a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the lake that gives it its name.

Currently, El Lago is recommended by the prestigious Michelin Guide, holds two Repsol Suns and is ranked in the Top 10 by the Macarfi Guide.
The history of El Lago began in 2000 and has been constantly evolving over time.
What was born as a restaurant of the Club House of Greenlife Golf was becoming a benchmark of haute cuisine in Malaga and Andalusia.
Always looking for the best local products and applying the most appropriate processing techniques to obtain textures and flavors that delight the diner.

The gastronomy of El Lago

The El Lago team is working on a completely new menu.

At lunchtime, the menu includes the possibility of having lunch with tapas and wines by the glass, or eating something simple such as a salad, a sandwich or a hamburger; or choosing several starters to share, and a main course such as entrecote of aged beef or sea bass with spinach and caramelized onion.

In the evening, guests can opt for an a la carte dinner or a tasting menu that includes a selection of dishes from El Lago’s cuisine.
