Bizet’s opera “Carmen” fills Anantara Villa Padierna’s amphitheater with magic

Benahavís/Marbella, May 3, 2024 – The magic of Bizet’s “Carmen” is installed from this May at Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Framed within the proposal called “Opera BouOque”, this original version of Bizet’s iconic work arrives to the Costa del Sol.
A project conceived by the musician and cultural manager Anabel Sanchez, of CP&M Producciones, which presents a new and special way to enjoy the opera, proposing a fusion between entertainment, care of the arWsOca part and the environment where it takes place.

On this occasion, Bizet’s opera “Carmen” is performed in a reduced and staged version through the best known arias and duets, starring the four main roles of the plot: Carmen, Don José, Escamillo and Micaela, and accompanied by the melody of the piano.

With a production of one hour and fifteen minutes, the main fragments of Bizet’s parOture are extracted to give life to the myth of Carmen, an opera that integrates the podium of the most performed works worldwide along with “The Magic Flute” and “La Traviata”, which indicates its enormous validity and the success it continues to achieve since its premiere at the Opéra Comique de Paris in 1875.
