Cívitas Puerto Banús will celebrate the fourth UNIDOS gala with six chefs and seven Michelin Stars from Málaga.
Puerto Banús, Marbella, July 3, 2024 – The fourth edition of UNIDOS, the event that brings together the top representatives of Malaga’s cuisine, will be held on Sunday, July 7, at the Muelle de Honor of Cívitas Puerto Banús, the most exclusive area of the Marbella marina, in the moonlight and in front of the luxury yachts of this emblematic enclosure.
A gastronomic encounter starring six chefs with seven Michelin Stars: Benito Gómez, from Bardal**; Mario Cachinero, from Skina**; José Carlos García, from José Carlos García Restaurante*; Mauricio Giovanini, from Messina*; Diego Gallegos, from Sollo*; and Diego del Río, from Boho Club; who have created a unique tasting menu for this dinner, based on local produce.
UNIDOS is a magnificent experience in the framework of a gala for more than 300 guests.
In an exceptional atmosphere, Malaga’s haute cuisine will be accompanied by entertainment, as the highlight of the dinner will be provided by the flamenco singer José Mercé, who will be in charge of enlivening the evening with his art.
The tasting menu will consist of an appetizer and a dish representative of the cuisine of each of the six chefs.
Thus, we find snacks such as zurrapa malagueña with oregano and vinegar, by José Carlos García, or the canapé of roast chicken, white shrimp and spicy bisque, by Benito Gómez, and main courses such as the almond royal, cauliflower and caviar, by Diego Gallegos; sea bass, gazpachuelo, silky zucchini and pickles, by Mario Cachinero; pigeon with mole and grilled fennel, by Mauricio Giovanini; and for dessert, pavlova, vanilla chantilly, red fruits, lime and matcha tea, by Diego del Río.
The evening will include a selection of EPC Champagne and Spanish wines from the Jorge Ordóñez Group.
The UNIDOS event was born in 2020 to value local talent and gastronomy in a province like Malaga, where the culinary field shines at national and international level.
The six chefs present in this fourth edition agree in highlighting that “participating in UNIDOS is a great joy because it is a reunion with their colleagues, among whom there is a deep friendship and, in addition, celebrating it in a setting such as Cívitas Puerto Banús is a privilege”.
