More than 35 years of growth without losing our essence
Frutas y Verduras Eladio has its roots in a family-owned business that has been involved in the distribution of fruits and vegetables since the 1980s. In the early 2000s, Eladio Rueda took the reins of a new business venture that would give rise to the current company, gradually building a project that today boasts a robust logistics and sales infrastructure.
The company has evolved since its inception, maintaining the quality and freshness of its products, close relationships with customers, and personalized service as its cornerstones. Currently, it offers more than 1,100 items, makes approximately 160,000 deliveries annually , and serves hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and other hospitality professionals in Andalusia and throughout Spain.
In recent years, this growth has been accompanied by a significant transformation of the company’s infrastructure and processes. The expansion of its headquarters at Mercamálaga has strengthened its storage, order fulfillment, and distribution capabilities, while the company continues to make progress in upgrading its systems and professionalizing its organizational structure.
Eladio Rueda, founder and owner of Frutas y Verduras Eladio:
“When you start a business venture, you can’t imagine how far it will go over the years. Having surpassed 30 million euros in revenue is, without a doubt, a great source of satisfaction and recognition for many years of work, effort, and commitment from an entire family and everyone who has been a part of Eladio. But for me, the most important thing is that we’ve managed to grow without losing what has always been at the heart of who we are: respect for the product, a job well done, and close relationships with our customers and producers. Today, I look at what we’ve built with pride, but also with the excitement of continuing to move forward.”
