Eladio Rueda, recognized as Honorary Citizen of Marbella 2026

Marbella, May 11, 2026. – Frutas y Verduras Eladio proudly celebrates the recognition granted to its founder, Eladio Rueda Serrano, distinguished with the title of Honorary Citizen of Marbella 2026, one of the highest distinctions awarded by the Marbella Town Hall.

The institutional ceremony took place this Saturday at the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella and brought together institutional representatives, law enforcement agencies, family and friends of the honorees. During the ceremony, the Consistory recognized 17 residents of the municipality for their contribution to human, social, cultural, sporting and business development of Marbella and San Pedro Alcantara.

This recognition values the trajectory of Eladio Rueda Serrano, a benchmark of the local business network and a figure closely linked to the growth and evolution of the agri-food sector on the Costa del Sol. Since its inception, Frutas y Verduras Eladio has stood out for its commitment to quality, service and proximity, becoming a reference company for professionals in the hospitality industry, businesses and individuals.

The mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, stressed during her speech that “a city is built above all with people, with values, with effort and generosity”, also stressing that the honorees represent “the soul of this city”.
