THE MOST GOURMET SUMMER TERRACE IN MALAGA: BITES WITH LOCAL SOUL AND LAURENT-PERRIER CHAMPAGNE

José Carlos García opens the season on the terrace of his restaurant next to the Port with a new proposal of sophisticated snacks, ideal for pairing with the most emblematic cuvées -and some new ones- of the iconic French Maison.

Malaga, July 17, 2025. – José Carlos García welcomes the summer on the terrace of his restaurant next to Laurent-Perrier. Faithful defender of the local product, the Malaga chef continues his collaboration with the historic Champagne winery, joining his creations of Andalusian roots and contemporary look to the excellence of French cuvées.

On this terrace facing the sea, you can enjoy a selection of bites designed to share, including: the shrimp sam with coriander sprouts, the scallop tartlet with beet and mielrama, the fritters with sour cream and Antonius Caviar, the langoustine ravioli with fresh duck foie sauce, white shrimp carpaccio with pine nut and tarragon vinaigrette, homemade stewed stew croquette, a board of Malaga artisan cheeses, and sweets such as yolks with yogurt and citrus, hazelnut chocolate with Ferrero ice cream or raspberry sorbet.

All this can be paired with a glass or bottle of Laurent-Perrier Brut La Cuvée -the essence of the Maison’s style-, Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, the emblematic rosé made by maceration since 1968, the elegant Millésimé 2015, the Blanc de Blancs – Brut Nature, with no added sugars, or exceptional cuvées such as Grand Siècle Iteration N°26 and Alexandra Rosé 2004. A new addition is Heritage Brut, the first 100% reserve wine brut champagne, a blend of the best Crus of chardonnay and pinot noir grapes, half of which are Grand Crus. This champagne stands out for its complexity, freshness and depth.

The terrace, open to the open air and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean, is a unique enclave in the Port of Malaga: next to the picturesque Chapel of the Virgen del Carmen – recently renovated – in front of the luxury moorings and with the silhouette of the Alcazaba and the Cathedral in the background.

José Carlos García, enthusiastic about this new season, explains:
“Every year we take a step further in this proposal that is already part of the summer in Malaga. It is a more casual experience than that of the restaurant, designed to share special bites with a glass of exceptional champagne. Laurent-Perrier represents elegance, tradition and also innovation, and that fits perfectly with what we want to offer here.”
