Press Release
Frutas y Verduras Eladio starts the fall season expanding the production of its gourmet line ‘Calma Eladio’.

Marbella, October 22nd, 2025. – Autumn comes loaded with flavor and tradition from the hand of Frutas y Verduras Eladio, which starts the new season expanding the production of its gourmet line ‘Calma Eladio’. A project that vindicates the value of proximity agriculture, gastronomic excellence and sustainability, from the hand of a score of Malaga producers who cultivate with the same care and respect with which past generations did it.
Currently, there are already about twenty references that are being grown in different parts of the province, with the intention of offering the most demanding customers products of the highest quality, cultivated in a traditional way and with the good work of local farmers. For the presentation of the season, the company chose the farm of Pepe Álvarez, Eladio’s collaborator since 2017, whose philosophy is based on producing gourmet fruits and vegetables on demand, respecting the natural rhythms of the land.
During the event, the owner of the company, Eladio Rueda, highlighted “the firm and growing commitment to the ‘Calma Eladio’ line, which seeks to supply our customers with kilometer 0 products based on their gastronomic needs, and always having our professional advice on the product to meet their expectations of quality and service”.
The flavors of autumn
This season, the Malaga fields under the seal ‘Calma Eladio’ are filled with colors and textures: pitahayas, figs, custard apples, mangoes, quinces, strawberries, Daniela tomatoes, pears and cherrys; without forgetting the most representative vegetables of this season, such as cauliflower, Dutch chives, cabbages of different types, colorful cauliflowers, celery, chard, lollo rosso lettuces, lollo verde, oak leaf and Italian cucumber. A natural pantry that connects directly to the table and inspires the most innovative hoteliers and chefs in the region.
Tradition that is savored
The producers who are part of the firm ‘Calma Eladio’ maintain the cultivation system of yesteryear: no chemicals that alter the size or the naturalness of the fruit or vegetable, with manual collection and packaging piece by piece. “This allows us to guarantee the excellent quality of each unit from the moment it is harvested until it reaches the customer,” Rueda emphasized.
Another of the added values of this line is the short time between harvesting and delivery: a short trip that ensures freshness, flavor and aroma intact, transferring to the consumer the purest essence of the Malaga countryside.
