Valladolid, March 17, 2026. -Under the slogan “Eating healthy is fun”, ChefsForChildren organizes, in collaboration with FEDER, the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases, exceptional cooking workshops at Bodegas Emilio Moro, where children with rare diseases discover that eating healthy can be a game. The workshops are taught by renowned chefs such as Manuel Costiña (Costiña**), José Carlos García (José Carlos García Restaurante*), Manu Franco, (La Casa de Manolo Franco*) and Miguel Ángel de la Cruz (La Botica de Matapozuelos*).

The Emilio Moro winery is transformed into a space full of colors and smiles. After enjoying a snack, the children put on aprons and chef’s hats and divide into groups to prepare vegetable pizzettes and fruit skewers, following the instructions of the chefs. An experience that combines learning, fun and creativity.

With more than 60 Michelin-starred chefs participating altruistically in this eighth edition, ChefsForChildren reinforces values such as solidarity, healthy gastronomy and inclusion. FEDER, which represents more than 400 associations throughout Spain, promotes research, access to treatment and awareness of rare diseases.

Juan Carrión, president of FEDER, explains that “For the Foundation it is essential to promote spaces where children with rare diseases can enjoy, learn and share experiences with their peers. Activities such as these cooking workshops not only encourage healthy habits, but also promote inclusive leisure, helping to prevent situations of isolation or discrimination that can sometimes be experienced by our children. On this occasion, children from our organizations in Castilla y León have been able to take part in this experience. Seeing them participate, have fun and feel part of a group is a sign of how important it is to continue generating opportunities that favor their development, emotional wellbeing and family coexistence.”

As host of this endearing activity with the children, the president of Bodegas Emilio Moro, Javier Moro, said that “we are proud to open the doors of our house to such a special initiative as ChefsForChildren“. He also adds that “to see how these children discover that eating healthy can also be fun, with great chefs and in an environment like our winery, is a very special experience for everyone“.

On April 20, ChefsForChildren will bring together the best chefs in the country at Anantara Villa Padierna (Malaga) for a full day: a morning press conference, cooking workshops with the chefs and 150 children, and a gala dinner with an exclusive tasting menu prepared by Michelin-starred chefs from Malaga.
